APRIL UPDATE///New Album///Summer Tour///Music Video///EP Re-release///

Hello everyone!!! We’ve got some exciting stuff going on at the moment. First off we’d like to thank everyone who has donated to our Kickstarter. We are amazed at how fast we were able to raise the money and by the looks of it we will reach our goal well under the deadline!!! Thanks to you guys we will be spending the month of May in New York City recording our debut album with Chris Zane!!! We’re still getting over the initial shock. Even though we have reached our goal we still urge you to continue pledging, everything we raise past our goal from now until May 1st will help us to eat and pay for our beloved tour van (Kareem Abdul Jabbar).

Which brings us to this summer and touring. We will be on tour for most of the summer. We will be opening for the band Fitz and the Tantrums on several dates of their mid-west & east coast tour as well as Canada!!! They were just named VH1’s artist to watch and they are awesome! Check them out (www.fitzandthetantrums.com). Then, later this summer we will finally be heading out west!!!

We’ve got a new amped up stage show and alot of new songs. We’ll be touring with our new drummer Jeremy Malvin (Chrome Sparks) as well as a 1000 watt PA system incase anyone wants to throw a Stepdad concert in their living room and undoubtedly recieve a noise violation.

We are excited to announce that we will be shooting a new music video for the song Squares. More details on that soon!

And finally, we are planning to re-release an updated version of the Ordinaire EP with new artwork, as well as some unreleased bonus tracks and a brand new song!!! The new version will be available on all of the usual digital music sites (itunes, amazon, rhapsody, etc…) And since we can’t wait to show you the new music, we will probably release the first single off of the Wildlife Pop LP early this summer!!! along with another new music video. We’ll probably do a limited run of the new single on 7” vinyl as well.
