July Update

Yo yo yo. If anyone was wondering why we’ve been so quiet this past month it’s because we’ve been on the road with Fitz and the Tantrums and in New York recording our first album in Phillip Glass’s old studio with producer and cat lover Chris Zane, and on Friday June 10th at roughly 2:15 AM we finished it! The album sounds amazing and we couldn’t be more proud of it. We cannot wait to show you!

To everyone who donated to our Kickstarter and made this record possible, thanks again. I don’t think we can thank you enough actually, I guess you’ll just have to be happy with the weird shit we’re about to send you in the mail, and ofcourse the album. Speaking of mailing weird shit to you, in the next few weeks or so we will be reaching out for your mailing addresses for the Kickstarter incentives. We’ve got alot of letters to write, cards to draw, video tapes to record, and a few of you are even getting into all of our shows for free for like a year.

Ordinaire Re-release
We’re super excited to announce that we will be re-releasing the Ordinaire EP on Quite Scientific Records this summer. It will be remastered, have new cover art, and include 2 brand new songs! Finally, we can give our baby a proper release. We’re also still talking to a few labels about doing a vinyl release of My Leather, My Fur, My Nails.
